Village originated at place of former market settlement Lešná. First mentioned in the year 1320. The most characteristic building is 45 m high tower of the town-hall from the second part of 16th century. You can also visit here the house of national revivalist F. L. Hek, the main character of A. Jirásek´s famous novel F. L. Věk. Near the Dobruška you can visit the small beautiful church of St. Spirit, Renaissance rebuilt, with Baroque bell tower. The other interesting building is The Baroque rebuilt, Gothic church of the Virgin from the year 1350.
